Personal Obsidian vault notes on: Computer Networking, Databases, Languages, Production Software, Real Time Systems, Security (github.com/voidReq/notes ↗)
AR/VR: I've been interested in AR ever since I saw the Focals by North, which still amaze me. I've been monitoring AR since then, and I recently acquired a pair of Even G2's—which are sick! I hope to work on some related personal projects soon; I've spent a bit of time reverse engineering the G2/R1 BLE protocols.
Cooking: I've been a part-time sous chef the past few summers, but I've cooked all my life. I started young, baking with my siblings and helping my dad cook dinner.
Computer architecture: Pairing with my interests in security, I've long had an interest in computer architecture. I've been reading some excellent books in similar fields, including one on RTOS's with C, and another on 1990's Intel Assembly.
Travel: I love to travel, and I believe I've visited over 20 countries. I love sampling new food and talking to new people, and travelling is one of those things that always makes me happy.
3D Printing/CAD: I'm mostly a hobbyist when it comes to printing and CAD, but I greatly enjoy them. At home I have an Ender 3 V3, but I've used a variety of printers, including ones from Bambu Labs, Prusa, and Ultimaker. I have a habit of making printer octopi of people I meet, using Blender to combine a LiDAR scan of their heads with an octopus body.
